Is it coming to any of the main digital distributors?

I'm certainly interested in trying it out. But I tend to like to just stick to my usual distributors. Does anyone know if Kero Blaster is coming to Steam or GOG?
Or if he's said if there'll be a 3DS or vita release?

There was talk and probably plans for KeroBlaster to go on Steam later on after it's debut, in which I heard that if it happens later on they will give keys to those who bought it via playism.

It's all speculations though, as Playism has only two games that were ever distributed to Steam.

Do you think the game will get a 3ds release? (Possibly by Nicalis?)

I dunno.
Probably, because of how many good reviews the game has and the sales of the game (Also, the gameplay is well suited for the 3DS.), but you never know...

How is Playism not a digital distributor?

The keyword here though is "main"/mainstream.

That is, the creator of the OP can't be assed to sign up for a playism account and just wants to buy it through their usual channels like steam or something.

They have, like, 3x more than that now

So he would prefer to pay just as much for a DRMed copy of the exact same game?

AFAIK GoG doesn't have DRM, and Steam only barely has DRM any more, that being that you need to sign into your account to download the game (which basically amounts to no DRM.) He obviously just wants to have his library centralized between two major sources.
Yeah just checked, GoG is DRM-free and Steam's DRM is basically nonexistent. Not seeing much point in your argument, andwhy.

It might also have something to do with Steam Wallet and/or a GOG.com credit equivalent (Haven't used it much so I don't know).

Younger fellas don't normally have cards they can use to buy from anywhere, so they have to resort to gift-card funds for their stuff.

That, or he wants the central library like Dunc said.

I was talking about just Steam, not GOG, sorry I wasn't all that clear on that front.

I thought that Steam games had a Steam dependency and couldn't run standalone? Or is that only with some games? Then again my experience with Steam is kinda narrow and dated.

Steam maybe.. but GoG gift cards?

Well you need to launch the games through Steam, but it doesn't require being online or anything like it used to. Once you've downloaded the game, you can play it anywhere. And if you want to share it, just give someone your Steam credentials. If they log in offline after downloading, they can play while you use your Steam account.

Parks' wording seemed to imply that payment isn't a problem, and it's likely just for the convenience of having things in one spot. If that's the case, I guess that's their choice.

A Steam release is fairly likely in the long run, anyway. Should Nicalis get involved somehow (I don't think they are, right?), it would be on every platform and their predecessor! *shudder*

Nicalis was toying with the notion of a 3DS port a while back. But they have toyed around with a number of ideas that haven't come to light.

Yeah, that's still DRM in my book.

You don't necessarily have to log in to Steam to play a game, some games have no DRM, beyond downloading from your account. Some games, I remember Super Meat Boy being one, you can launch from the folder it's installed in without having to log in. If Nicalis publishes this though, I'm kinda expecting it to still require you to log in, it's like that in Cave Story+.

I'm not seeing it, andwhy. How is it any more DRM than needing to log on to your computer to play the game?

Steam manages your login credentials for steam, you manage your login credentials for your computer.

Also I do have to ask how you "log in offline", since that seems like a thing you shouldn't be able to do.
