Imported saves don't work

Hi guys,i'm using cave story+ from steam to start,after i defeating the undead core,i wanted to install a 100% save file so i could defeat Ballos(also make some fun with save edit),but then,when i do all right,and start the game,i can only delete the save or continue without saving,and the profile don't load,i also noticed that my save have around 129 kb,while the others have only 2kb,help?

 

You downloaded the save files from the Tribute site? Did you also download the additional program that makes the files work with Plus? The files alone don't work with Plus, as it says on the page.

So yes, you got the files to work? If you couldn't find the link, it's this one. I haven't a clue how to use it though; I don't own Cave Story+...yet.

 

Rename the profiles you want to use to Profile1.dat, Profile2.dat, and Profile3.dat, then run the program. It'll make a single Profile.dat, THIS is what you use for Cave Story+
