Ooohhh Jesus I've been procrastinating so much but I'll just post this in the meantime and add the link.
I actually still need a name for it. I originally had an idea to make an idea made completely out of my own drawings. That was a bit abitious so I decided to just have drawn backgrounds and certain bosses. Recently I decided I was unhappy with this as well, so now there's only 1 drawn boss. Illustrated isn't a fitting title anymore So I'd like some suggestions.

Yeah Illustrated sounds good but It doesn't fit anymore...

Sorry but I kinda gave up on that Idea. In fact I gave up on most attempts at changing the assembly. I've only really changed things like the title screen and such.

Aw, thats too bad :D

Maybe sometime I'll make a list of assembly hacks anyone can do, just changing constants and stuff. That could hopefully lead to some more innovative weapons/etc. I'll try to find time for that soon.

Something odd, if you go into Mex HQ from Town Hall after you are given the gloves, the screen goes black, and text sounds play.
Also, attempting to go through the tiger's head door before picking up the eraser, which should have some indication of where it is by the way, will also cause the screen to go black.

Oh yeah I know about the mex hq one. I think the Mex HQ one happens cause the first time I changed the scene there the flag I used was too high and subsecuentually didn't work. This was just a problem when I tested it and the event for when you crash on the floor cause it would happen whenever I went past that place. I forgot to change the flag ID of the event trigger up at the top and I only noticed after I uploaded the demo. I better fix that up. The eraser is exactly where you land. But I didn't know about the bug there. I'll fix that up as well.

I better wait for people to point out more bugs and then I'll upload the fixed version. There's no reason to go back to those two places anyway after going past.

Either you didn't see this when you made it, or you are evil.
In the underground area, when you need to go through a spike/frog-in-chair/evil flower ( evil flowers :p ) corridor after you get the chips (forgot to change the name from Sprinkler by the way) there's a line of 6 spikes. The most a player can clear with one jump without the booster is 5, so you have to use post-damage invincibility to get past.

Yeah I did that on purpose.

Actually there are so many errors and glitches. I probably didn't test it properly cause I knew exactly what to do. I might get rid of the download link and just fix some of the glitches up.

Errors to Cave Story are like Flies to Honey.
I always test my mod a bazillion times before releasing even an update, and I still miss a few :D;

Actually! It's not the post-damage invincibility that gets you through, It's the bounce you get from hitting the frog. But they both work the same way.

I'm looking at the script now and I dunno what might be causing it. It always worked for me. Tell me everything you did after
going to the sewer and meeting Ray.
