I got this off twitter, since I follow Konjak.

Fuck yes, this game is going to be awesome. I just checked for an update two days ago, and I can't believe I missed it by that much.

He hasn't "officially" posted this yet. I think he's gonna be releasing it later on today. (He lives in Sweden, I think.)

Unfortunately, it's still unfinished. So the actual plot doesn't even go as far as the old alpha. But the game itself is WAY slicker now.

I want this so bad. Like, now. I don't really go on twitter enough to see this stuff, but you'd think his personal website which I check daily would get the news first. >.>

A new release??? Excellent!

Iconoclasts is one of my most anticipated titles...
I hope Konjak is able to bring his vision in its entirety to life...

I wonder if there is a donate button? I don't see one anymore.

I bet he could probably get on humble bundle if he's having trouble with monies...
Though, since it's already out for free, that kind of throws a wrench in that idea... [besides it should also be on Mac and Linux in that case]
Unfinished games have been released on humble bundle in the past, with the promise that you'd get the full version when it is completed, so you're funding the development of the game.

And news release is up... A trailer for the new alpha build as well~
---
Back when I was in the Indie Royale bundle I included a newer alpha of Iconoclasts, here is basically that alpha but with whichever tweaks and fixes that part of the game has gotten since then! The alpha does however end earlier than the old one, for reasons of keeping some changed content still under wraps. But you get to see how it's improved, and I do want reports if there's trouble, like how some get crashes in level transitions.

There's also a new trailer for this year! I guess having two already when the game's pretty far from done is weird, but it was a nice break from game development. I haven't entered IGF at the second of this posting, but I pretty much will. Now, enjoy the cheese held within this piece of video:
