So these guys made you Lux Delux.
If you like Risk, you will like this game. If you don't like Risk because it takes forever, you may still like this game because it's much faster (computing and all that).
It's pretty much Risk Deluxe. You can play it with all the same rules, or different, crazy rules. There's a bunch of different AI to play against, and most importantly, a BUNCH of maps. The world, Europe, Vietnam, space, Hyrule. Fuck it, it's user-created, anything goes.
Oh and you can play online.

It's not a free game. It costs $15, but there's a demo that has all the important features and lets you play 30 games.

I fucking love Risk, so I bought it.

I actually already own like 5 Risk computer games, but thanks though.
It looks well made, very polished.
I also own like three different types of Risk in real life...

Well this one is better.
Because, um, it's the official Risk clone of the Cave Story Tribute Site community.
Also that Hyrule map :F

I thought this thread was about taking risks.

Anyways I checked the screenshot, it seems like an extremely simplified version of Europa Universalis.

Yeah, when they make computer version of Risk 2210 I will make love to it.
Sweet, nuclear love.

And I don't get why people think that simplifying things makes them worse. From my perspective, Europa Universalis is an overly complicated version of Risk, since Risk has been around for 54 years.

Now that I think about it, they're two completely different concepts. Europa Universalis is like a real life simulator.

I have an original Risk from the '70s, Risk 2210 AD (of course), and a Star Wars Risk, where the players on the empire team get to advance the moats towards Order 66.

And a myriad of computer versions.

We should all have a game of Risk. Or Lux Delux, rather. Or possibly a different game if Cultr recommends one.

Oh poop what a sad typo.
I fixed it now, but I will be forever ashamed?

Cap I may try that. I haven't played "real" risk in a VERY long time, but the last time I played, I won (I was eight).
I may need some recuperating games.

Have you guys ever played diplomacy?

Wowzers!

We should play that as well as risk if we get the time (Henry Kissinger's Favorite Game! ALL CAPS!).
I'm in the barrel of really wanting to but not being informed.
