Please tell me why you guys are so scared.

The last man I knew who had double depression...tried to kill me. He would follow me home from school and stand outside my house...just blankly staring into my window. One night..he got in. I woke up to the sound of my bedroom door opening...and saw him standing there. I'll never forget his face. Just a blank, emotionless stare. What happened next is kind of a blur. He started by hitting me in the head with something heavy, but I'm not sure what. When I came to, I was on the floor, and I was missing a few teeth. My dad tells me he warded off the attacker, but he's never told me how.

Well, now I'm entertained.

Too bad OP missed the memo on posting about disorders online. Key word is DON'T.

Btw, never, EVER use Wikipedia for info, it's regarded as the single least reputable source on the interwebs. Every single professor I've met pretty gives you an instant F if you use it.

Eh, what I'm saying, your bumbling already, so I'm just gonna sit back and watch CaptainFab.

I have a friend with ADHD and Aspergers, and another that is bipolar. I myself was diagnosed with ADHD when I was about seven or eight, and took pills for it when I was ten to when I was eleven. I do not have ADHD, but I'm young for my grade; and was quite immature until about age ten. People find it hard to believe I was diagnosed with ADHD, in real life I'm very quiet and can slip in and out of places unnoticed.

I wish I could have had puberty diagnosed as a personality disorder. Pills probably would have helped my... um, irritable maleness.
SHUT UP IT'S A CONDITION, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAAAND.

Did I also mention that the medication reduced my hunger? In the bad way. I would wake up, have two bites of breakfast, go into school and be starving until lunch.

Was it prozac or concerta? Cause I used to take those and one of them reduced my hunger. Or rather, made it so if I ate anything my stomach would be upset, which was quite inconvenient during school. So I would avoid eating breakfast and eat as little at lunch as possible.

But yeah, as far as disorders go: I HAVE MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER! All the bad posts I make are really my evil side, Bob. It all started because I was raped and my parents are deaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!

I really shouldn't be making fun of that. That was just mean. But anyway, as far as I know I have depression. They dismissed ADD/ADHD/whatever a few years ago, but maybe I do have it. Not sure.

Isn't irritable male syndrome caused by a decrease in testosterone from middle agedness?

Irritable Male Disorder is what those guys that always work in the office; then when they come home late that beat there wives. They think they have money troubles, and eventually have a heart-attack because of all the stress have.

The doctor's already said I had ADHD and Aspergers but the didn't completely confirm it. My mom said she doesn't want me taking medication. She thinks it will change how I act.

I never told the therapist this but now that I think of it I usually have 2 voices going off in my head, one that pro-motes all that I say, and one that de-motes all that I say. Usually one voice says something right off the bat after a response and then the other voice would respond to that. For instance look at this:

This is what would usually go on in my head after reading this:
Pro Voice: Yay people enjoyed this!
De Voice: Oh great now you are over-glorifyng yourself.

I am then left to decide what to say I will say. I will either pick one, or mix them.

Now that I read over this I think I am Bipolar too. I think I may very well have it now that I read over the wikipedia page, because it says many creative people are Bipolar, and many people have said I was creative. Do you guys think I am creative?

Tell your psychiatrist about the voices. Are they like this? It may mean schizophrenia...I am not a psychiatrist though, just a general practitioner...so do not consider my opinion as true until you've consulted your psychiatrist. Best wishes :(

That depends on the dosage. I think you will notice it less than they do.

I did not want to scare him, and I'll likely be wrong...I mean if it could be schizophrenia, probably the specialists would diagnosed him already as such - so no need to be scared. I just wanted to point out in a firm way that he needs to fullly cooperate and TELL THE PRO STAFF EVERYTHING - if he wants to to get a correct diagnose, the best threatment and the best results. Also wanted to provide him some sort of information about what voices can be, asking if he hears them the way the simulation shows or in another way. Bipolars, not just those suffering from schizophrenia might hear voices sometimes.

It probably isn't schizophrenia, as the main symptom of that is paranoid delusions. Going off of what he said, he isn't having those.

I guess I'm one of the few members that have no syndromes and just realise that people are strange, no matter how you put it.

EDIT: I understand that those are actual syndromes that get diagnosed by proffessionals. it's just that there's an excessive amount of self-diagnosing people who want to find an excuse for their social ineptness.
