How to modify the .bmp images in Cave Story+?

Yes, I know that I'm doing a lot of topics, but this is probably the last one: in CS+ how could I modify the sprites? I know that in CS you have to some things with (C)Pixel or something with th Hex Editor.. The problem is that in CS+ there isn't (C)Pixel, (C)Nicalis, (C)Nis and (C) itself! I have the translated sprites, but I don't know how to put in the game.. Thank you :)

I'm pretty sure that there isn't any sort of (C)Pixel requirement for the images in CS+. From my experience, you can just modify the images (making sure they're in bmp format, of course), replace them, and run the game with your modified spritesheets.

Mah... I don't know why, but the sprites crushes :c I tried it a lot of times.. nothing :/

If there's no (C)Pixel, etc., then shouldn't it work fine? Did it crash when you tried using modified bitmaps?
Yes! I don't know why :c

Oh! I just installed and used Photoshop to modify the sprite. It's all ok -w-
