Anyone remember C&C: Red Alert?
I mean that Win95/DOS game with epic gameplay?
You know, Soviets vs. Allies?
Attack Dogs vs. Giant Tanks?
Tesla Coils, Nuclear Missiles and MCV's?
Yes/No?

Well, regardless, EA has released the game to the general public... FOR FREE.
Now, some of you may be wondering: "Who fucking cares?"
Well, I do.
So nyeh.
Anyways, to save some headaches in burning CD (or installing a virtual CD program), I've uploaded a fully patched version.
It's compatible with XP, but I'm not sure about vista.
Also, it has the LAN patch too.

Enjoy!
UPLOADED! Hurry - RapidShit exipres in 90 days / 10 dl's.

I own the discs, with both expansions, but they won't work on any of my computers (of which I have three!). I was gonna download the free version, but it was such a hassle. Thank you DragonBoots!
(Attack dogs ftw)
EDIT: I think you put this is in the wrong subforum, DB.

It's up.
You'll need WinRar.
Also, get Hamachi Cap'n.
I wanna play a game of StarCommand & CraftConquer: Broodalert - Redwar with you.
And yes, attack dogs for the win.
Until they get shot. :(

I haven't played RA1 in SOOO LONG. THERE WILL BE A HELLUVA NOSTALGIA FACTOR OVER HERE.
I cannot play a game of Star Alert with you right now, since I'm going to have supper soon (BC. Suck it.) but after supper I will do stuff with things k.
By the way, whyme, Red Alert is one of the most popular and awesome real time strategy games out there. It's on par with StarCraft (almost on par, for you SC zealots).

I'm sorry, I was fully planning on using one of your ten downloads, but I get one of my Ragnarok-attacks, and I was forced to redownload that instead. See you in like a week.

It didn't work on my computer :D
What's all this about virtual CD's anyway? EA (who had nothing to do with the game) released to download; shouldn't it be cracked already?

Actually, the download is just the ISO disk images.
You will need to burn a couple CD's.
Everything you need is here with the exception of the LAN patch, which is here.

Why the hell did they release the game for free if you have to burn it to a CD and apply a patch twice and get a no-CD hack? That's not releasing it for free; that's saying "hey it's legal but we're too lazy to supply you with an actual download".

I'll mount your virtual drive.
I'm not saying it's ridiculously complicated, I just expected it to be simpler because EA was like "OMG HAVE A FREE RETRO GAME YOU GUYS!" Hopefully it works on my computer, because I can't install it from the disc. It only runs in Windows 95.

Well.
I think it's worth the effort.
Just like if Blizzard released WarCraft II: The Tides of Darkness for free.
God I miss the Ogre Warriors...
