After three months of work, the Hammer Brigade could finally lean back. They had collected every single ladder on the Island, and built them together. Now the ladder that their master had ordered them to do was finally complete. All that was left was to get it over the edge of the island, and then whatever he was planning could begin. But dusk had fallen, and with the sea stretching beneath, the time for the descent had not came today.
At the same time, the chef of the brigade was preparing the flower stew for this evening. He gave a glance to the bags of the red flower petals placed beside the normal ingredients. He was not to touch them tonight, but rather use them in the stew of the festive day when they would finally connect the ladder with the surface.
