Looks like this is still the best place to drop music.

Was watching random new fall anime shows and this ending song mesmerized me.
From Asterisk Wars: Waiting for the rain
Can't find the proper full song, but here's a piano rendition:

On another genre here's a song a friend shared the other day:
I AM MACHINE

Been randomly looking for some new music recently...
Mostly targeted the "alt metal/prog?" categories. Here are some of the good results :]
Young Guns (UK)

Poets of the Fall (Finnish)

No Resolve (US)

Bowling For Soup (US...NSFW? also... LOL this group...)

BAND-MAID (...Maids, Japanese!)

Lower Than Atlantis (UK)

Deaf Havana (UK)

Bucketheadland (no vocals, guitar)

Fraissinet (French... not metal!)

The Temper Trap (AUS)

Gone is Gone (US)

https://youtu.be/91fcg5X0278
Britney Spears (that Alien song is very catchy)

https://youtu.be/UBtSfpUaTQY
Itou Kanako (Japanese)

too much music out there D:

I was checking out some of the Humble Original games and was surprised by Oh, Deer!!'s music, a simple racing game about deer in your headlights. Pretty nice!

More interesting music I found:
I don't usually listen to music in other languages (besides Japanese?), but this vocaloid song (Meteor) in German was fun to follow with the lyrics. Great voice...

Even though I think it's missing something; maybe it's too short or simply looped, there's a certain foreign elegance and grace in the harmonies; as well as a subtle tribal-like drumbeat that adds another raw layer to the song... In other words, when I heard this song in-game I knew right away I would like the character x)

And then we have this... song. I've been listening to it lately, trying to use it as inspiration in determining the kind of feeling I want a certain story to relay. It's a lovely, sad touhou song with shocking visuals that get me every time.

Oh, well I was looking for one more song and happened upon Ragnarok Online. This is a slow piano rendition of an upbeat tune. If you know the original song, you'll really appreciate this. Otherwise, it's not bad.

Why the heck is the McDonalds Nintendo DS Employee Training Cartridge's Music so good.

Also a month or so ago I made a 1 hour mixtape/playlist of my (current) favorite songs of all time. I wanted to limit myself to something that would be a single listening session, something that acts as a countdown to the #1 song. I have bigger playlists of course but if I ever wanted to add a song to THIS one I had to remove one of these 10 first:
Youtube Playlist
Spotify Playlist (One track isn't available)
I don't actually expect anyone to care but maybe skim them if you're bored :droll: idk.

Hello! I am a white male age 39 who yes has Momorin as his avatar cuz she's the best character in the game imo

I love that expression ("Hmph") cuz it's what my Mom was like ;D

I would like to apply for the job of being [Redacted Name] "The Traveler" the main character of Cave Story. My resume is as follows:

Yes that's me and yes that's how much I love that song and yes this is just-for-fun, don't take it too seriously. :) Happy New Beer

And btw, my mom's advice to me was to become a well-rounded person, so broaden your horizons, people!
