*sigh*

Made a new version, but no one cares anyway. What's the point.

It's already starting to get that addictive, "I spent an hour doing that?" quality. Meh. Maybe I'll just give up.

Much progress has been made.

I've partially implemented the away team system, I still need to facilitate communication between the script and the program. There's also some glitches in the example adventure.

I've also put in a basic ship-to-ship combat system. It's pretty fun actually. I'm quite proud of the AI, simple as it is. The combat system is very rudimentary, but it's at least playable.

My server is still down, so I'll only take the time to upload a zip to Filedropper if anyone is actually still interested. Maybe I'll make a youtube video demonstrating the combat system in the near future.

EDIT:

NVM on that Youtube video, GGT apparently doesn't take well to being screencapped. I'll put some plain ol' PrintScreen shots up.

EDIT:

Aww screw it.

Says the guy who was giving up....

It would download it, but I'm not quite sure of two things:

My computer is horrible and I don't know if it'll run well.

I've no idea if it's interesting. I think screenshots would be good, because Youtube is one of those things that doesn't work too well on this computer.

Well, the GalGen engine was designed to run well with the debugger on. I didn't realize it made everything about 10x slower :D. So it should run just fine on just about anything. Even if it doesn't I could still use the feedback.

It's a 6 meg download. 5 of those 6 are just the music.mp3. Strange.

You never know with my computer. But overall, it looks cool, even though I had no idea what was going on. XD

The music seemed pretty fitting. Any game having to do with space is cool with me. :J Oh and, sorry but, it DID lag. I was wondering, is it possible to make the resolution smaller? It would help a lot with the lag that comes from everything on this computer. Nothing much else to tell from my immensely short time playing it. (Because of lag) Oh yeah, I liked the font.

Edit:
Thank you for finding an awesome file sharing website.

NEGATORY.

It's not "somehwere in my network", otherwise it'd be 192.168.1.x. That WAS my external IP, which was routed to my webserver. The server is down, so you can't access it.

DO NOT QUESTION ME AGAIN, INSOLENT HUMAN.

Ollie:

Sorry, no. I could implement a way to make it smaller, but I doubt it'd actually change anything. It sets itself to your desktop rez. What's your specs?

You know, I think I have a new version of this floating around somewhere.

Well, I know where it is, I just need to upload it to MediaFire (since filedropper is teh crap)...

EDIT:

There's a manual now. And shit. I don't remember.
