Finally, the Orgs are readily available. I was actually missing one for a while, but it was the one you're never supposed to hear anyway (Hero's End). If anyone knows where NewData.org is played, the name of King's tune (White.org), or why Oppression is named after IronHead, please tell me - especially the last one.

Also, I'm taking longer than I expected finishing gravity.mid - too many interruptions - so I'll put up the first CS MIDI I did: The Balcony

When you start a new ORG, it defaults to the name "NewData.org". It's probably something the guy who made this zip was working on and saved. It's not in my collection (mine are in their japanese names), so it's probably not Pixel's work.

(Even if this is an old thread, I never saw this midi before)
(if this person is still going here)
Could I maybe use that Balcony midi in my Cave Story game? BYOND uses only midis,
which is why I'm trying to find a program that converts mp3s into midis. I heard of one
that does that, but people said it was crummy cause you can't use it on songs with
lyrics in it, but since CS already has midi-like music it'd be perfect. and that is a great
midi, btw. I love it 8). usually when people make midis out of things they 'spice it up'
and it sounds terrible =/. that isn't the case with this one <3. *saves it*

may I use it in my game?

Whilst poking around Pixel's Website, I found this little beast, full of early versions and discarded songs from an earlier version of Cave Story, including the mystery ORG.

Have a listen - seom a quite good for scrapped songs. :p

Nice stuff! I already knew about a few of the dummied songs, but the rest are quite interesting.

One can only wonder what other secrets pixel has kept from us. :p Is it just me, or is that little dude at the bottom of the Weed npc spritesheet unused? (I think it's Weed - don't have the means to verify...) There's also Pixel the Cat, but we all know about that one. ;)

There's another old version of OrgView that's slightly different. I think the only differences are that Opression is replaced with an Opression-ish remix of the Ika-chan boss theme, and the background is differently colored. It can be found here.

There's also a zip file with MP3s of all the unused Orgs, including some I haven't heard in any version of OrgView, which is here.

Shining got his hands on the samples used in OrgMaker, and I really don't feel like ripping them manually - anyone know where I can get ahold of them?

None of the downloads say they are the samples for the instruments and drums, unless I'm missing something.
