Hello!

I'd like to know if there is a program that could convert PMD files to midi files as I'm trying to remaster Ikachan's soundtrack.

Thanks!

There's no need to use the org to midi program as long as you have Org210x, which has built-in midi export.

Org210x is much better. It tries to approximate all the song's samples as MIDI instruments, as opposed to org2mid which sets all channels to Acoustic Grand Piano. It may not exactly be perfect, but it helps you tweak it much better. I need to export the Cave Story orgs to midis so that we have a better source than VGMusic or the piano sheet music ones...

(NOTE: I was poked this way by 'rain' over at the Discord.)
PiyoPiyoJv5 (at PiyoPiyo File Format) has MIDI export support. However, it does not automatically choose instruments or drum types.
But the default drum types are hopefully a reasonable approximation of the PiyoPiyo drums, and a reference for all the instruments is included so you can try them out on your favorite device.
