Cave Story Title Theme Won't Play?

When i got on to cave story + after school today, the title theme wouldnt play. This isnt a huge issue, but i love the main theme, and it just sounds a little creepy if the theme wont play, but the sound effects will. That and im also worried this could lead to other issues that could break the game. If you know how to fix it or found a site that can fix it, plz respond as soon as u can!

 

This is an odd predicament you've came to... I'd advise you check the main files in case of any missing extensions.

hold on... when my computer booted up it said it needed to check the system files to fix something, but i just skipped it. maybe that has something to do with it?

i just figured something out! SCREW THE REMASTERED VERSION!!! the original for whatever reason still plays and i just listened to it and i swear, it is better than the remastered version.
