Hi all! It's my first post here, and I'm hoping to kick it off with a bang. :)

Lately I've been finding a lot of wonderful remixes of Cave Story's music. Over time, I've started building a playlist on my Sansa to listen to. It mixes many remixes with much of the original soundtrack.

As I kept using and tweaking the playlist, it occurred to me that if there was a "movie soundtrack" for Cave Story, it might sound like this, in this order. So, I've made a torrent of it, numbering all of the tracks in the order I recommend.

Here's a torrent of the compilation. For now, I'm only making a torrent, but if enough people ask, I'll stick it on MediaFire or RapidShare. :)

Aside from the remixes, the entire CS OST is on here. O.O

I already have the CS OST...

It's part of the point, really. I tried to mix the OST and the remixes so that the music flows as smoothly as it can, in addition to keeping the feel of the game intact (an album of nothing but remixes loses that feeling, for me). Basically, the idea is to copy all of these songs into one folder on an MP3 player or burn two CDs. :)

I noticed that I copied the wrong song for track 52. :) I stuck it on Rapidshare (zipped because I'm not sure if they treat .MP3s differently and don't want to take chances).

(Warning: Rapidshare has a new policy for submitters without any account - files cannot be downloaded more than 10 times.)

New edition coming in a few days, when I'm not too busy. I'm trying condense it into one CD's worth of music; i.e., for sticking in a car stereo if you don't have a way to send music to it from a DAP.

And I'm taking out a lot of the OST, but not all of it. To me, using only remixes would kill the feel that makes the game and its music so great. :p

I'll get back to seeding if need be. I'm working on getting it from my aging desktop to my laptop the lazy way: by having my laptop get it like any other torrent.

Once it finishes, I'll help seed as well when I'm on.

I think mediafire would be best.
