Increasing the resolution will generally increase the resolution.

I'm not saying that I didn't know this information, but what exactly does increase the resolution?
Getting a bigger monitor and/or making the display area of the program larger. Monitors these days can have resolutions of up to 2,560x1,440 pixels, and if you have good enough specs you can make games to run at that resolution, on a 32-bit system. If you're looking for a higher resolution than that then I don't know what you want.

Most computers up till recently were 32-bit, but they've started making them 64-bit, since they run a bit faster. No real changes in terms of graphical capabilities (at least not in resolution).

Cave Story runs off of 320x240 if I'm not correct, so if we can add that up too not 640x480 resolution but 1280x720 then the Theory "64-bit" comes into play, I get it guys, let me have my freedom please.

No it doesn't. All this shows is your clear misunderstanding of what 64-bit means.

64 bits = 64 ''slots'' with 2 possible inputs, each combination (64!) makes a different color, though similar combinations make similar colors, and the amount of possible colors is 2^64. So cave story in 64-bit would look the same, although it would have more capabilities for complex color thingies

Psst
Maybe you're the problem

People keep getting pissed because you keep posting about one topic that you don't know anything about. I don't know much about the topic myself, but I don't have the audacity to make so many meaningless threads about it. Maybe you should like
stop
take a class
grow up
mod
draw

People don't seem to know what 64-bit means in a computer.

64-bit therefore refers to a processor with registers that store 64-bit numbers. A generalization would be to suggest that 64-bit architecture would double the amount of data a CPU can process per clock cycle. Users would note a performance increase because a 64-bit CPU can handle more memory and larger files. One of the most attractive features of 64-bit processors is the amount of memory the system can support. 64-bit architecture will allow systems to address up to 1 terabyte (1000GB) of memory. In today's 32-bit desktop systems, you can have up to 4GB of RAM (provided your motherboard that can handle that much RAM) which is split between the applications and the operating system (OS).

Your talking too a dead thread here, I want to discuss how we can possibly have a greater count of bits on screen like plus for nicalis to look into.
Anyone seeing this?

It's useless to have more then 32 bits. (or 64 if your picky)

In a cave story port/mod/whatever.

How many times do we have to say this?

BITS

DON'T

COUNT

TOWARD

RESOLUTION!!!

Is that clear enough?
