Can't run Cave Story + on nxengine

First of all this my first post here, I'd like to say g'day to you all. Secondly, I'm currently having issues playing cave story + on the retro arch emulator, yes I do own the game through humble bundle and yes, i have jail broke my iPad 4 so I could run cave story plus, anyway, my nxengine emulator crashes when I run .exe of the download, why is that? Please may I have some help on this. Oh and if I have posted this in the wrong place, please forgive me.

I thought iOS devices couldn't run Windows executables even when jailbroken

 

well apparently it runs cave story just fine, I just want to play the plus version

Trust me, you aren't missing out on anything by playing the "Plus" version over the free version. But I don't see why it couldn't run it if it can run freeware Cave Story...

 

NXengine doesn't work with Cave Story+.

There isn't a reason why you should even begin to think that CS+ is anything similar to CS if you understand what a remake/overhaul is.

No I mean with the orgs and that. Does CS handle them in a way different to CS+ that makes it difficult to read for these emulators?

 

The fact that the music isn't made in .org format helps a bit

 

Tbh the only thing you're missing with CS+ is....
*Enhanced graphics
*Wind Fortress
*Different music
*Bubbler is now the Bubbline
