Booster's Lab - It's Pretty Good Now

Old topic!
The last post in this thread is over 60 days old. Posting in this thread will be considered a bump, so please make an attempt to be courteous if you go ahead with it.

If the last post is over 6 months old, it may instead be a better idea to start a new topic. If you aren't sure about what to do, feel free to ask a staff member for help, or try to locate a 'general questions'-type thread if it exists in this (sub-)forum.

I wrote that stupid TSC argument decoder (AND ITS BETTER THAN CE's) that you've been bitching at me forever for, along with a few other small fixes.
please test thanks
if you have any new Hackinator hacks that you'd like to be included, please link them below and I will post a 0.4.3.1 in a week or so.
Damn, no wonder minecraft was also not working, everything with java got screwed up by my custom theme

It would be really nice if BL would load a different/ generate and new entityInfo.txt for each .exe/mod folder (with some sort of on/off switch in the .ini file/Edit Project config settings maybe?)

Also maybe be able to edit the npcs names/framerects directly through the npc.tbl editor?

Actually, it'd be super useful if all of the text files (except flagnames and license) could be mod-specific, since they all have stuff that could be different from the defaults

New version of BL is ready, V0.4.5.0
Download: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42853625/Permanent/BoostLab_0450.zip http://noxid.ca/files/BoostLab_0450.zip

Code:
V0.4.5.0:
- Added more hacks to the hackinator, including TSC+
- Selecting a stack of entities brings up a popup letting you choose which to select, rather than just always picking from the top.
- Fixed a bug where changes to npc.tbl would not save in certain conditions.
- Fixed npc placement when shifting the map
- Added delete option to the context menu for entity editor
- added drag-select to entity editor
- you can now use ctrl-a to select all entities on the map in entity edit mode
- you now have to double-click an NPC type in the NPC list to change the type of a selected entity
- the command to add an entity to the map has been changed to the 'i' key, previously it was double-click
- removed cairn from entityinfo.txt
- updated sfxlist by zxin I think

V0.4.4.3:
- Added a gradient layer for TESS, new nxm format number 0x33
- Fixed some other things for GIR
- massive performance boost for the tile view
- added some hackinator hacks & fixed a few that were busted

Found a bug:
<GIT always tries to display items in the argument window, when it should be displaying weapon icons below 1000 or displaying items above 1000.

My bad!

quick update to fix some bugs that have been pointed out to me in 0450
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42853625/Permanent/BoostLab_0451.zip

Code:
V0.4.5.1:
- Made the selection list a set, preventing double-selection bugs
- fixed pasting entities which was broken in previous release
- TSC previews for <GIT now show the correct items
Also, i'd like to take this opportunity to mention that if you want to play around with the hackinator then ~please~ make a backup of your mod's exe. The editor doesn't do it for you, currently.

You might want to also change the names for tracks 3, 10, 15 and 16 to something more descriptive.
3 is the Game Over jingle, 10 is the Get Item jingle, 15 is the Victory jingle and 16 is the Get Life Capsule jingle.
Just a nitpick, but whatever.

On that note, here's an improved music list.

Why thank you.
I never understood why the fanfares are named Fanfale, but it's probably just error on Pixel's part.

Well, in Japanese "L" and "R" are pretty-much exactly the same thing. Meaning Pixel probably didn't have a very good understanding of English, and mixed up our "L" and "R." I've seen this happen at least twice before, so I can only assume that it's a fairly common issue.

2 errors:
  1. Items are no longer properly transparent in the argument window.
  2. The text color Hackinator hack is actually in BGR, not RGB.
On another note, how do I make NPC111, 112 and 150 use the new variable from the Hackinator TSC+ hack for the current character?
