Ok, so I was looking through Steam Greenlight and I saw a game called blockscape. I figured It would be a bad spinoff of Minecraft, but it turns out this game is really good.

Its pretty much minecraft, but with fantastic graphics, and SLOPES. (gasp)

It also has a recently added multiplayer feature, making it that much more fun.

You can Register, Buy it, or download the demo in the link below:

Personally I dislike randomly generated anything.
Hand crafted games from ground-up are what keeps me going, lasting me longer than any infinite game.

I agree with that guy, actually.

A few things that bugged me were, firstly the jump physics were no good, and second of all you can look further than straight down, performing a dizzying 360 in midair without moving, which also inverts your view until you complete it.
Why would that even be a thing that wasn't fixed in the earliest beta

That's dumb. Spelunky is a great indie game, and I like procedurally generated games just as much as the hand craftedness of Chrono Trigger or Action Fist.

The whole 360 thing does bug me, but I've gotten used to it.

Its WAY more detailed than minecraft, anyway.

It may look better but is it good? Unlike minecraft.
