A composer only has to play through a game once it's completely finished I think, so they can test and see if everything's going right with the sound and stuff.

I wouldn't say that's entirely true actually. Although, it's not as if I'm really late playing this game, bearing I wouldn't even call this a demo yet. I need to play the game as it's being made to get a feel for the story, and kind of emotions I want to be portraying in my music. Sure, I could try to compose something with a rough brief like: "A dark mysterious cave", but It's incredibly useful to know the emotions that I feel whilst playing it musicless, so that I can emphasise those emotions. I can't really get a feel for what it should be like by simply hearing the story or even reading the script.

aaand I was about to write a whole essay, then I realised that I should get some sleep & nobody actually wants to read that much.

I had no idea I cared this much about composing x)

I love the shiny bullets!!
They are just.. WOW! :D
I've been waiting for them since the video you posted.
Also, the (contrails?) Quote makes when he jumps, also really cool.
I can't wait until the first demo! This may actually be a CS2 mod that doesn't flop and die!
I have faith in you, Nadojin.

Its awesome. For how well you're doing, I'm sure you will succeed. It gets a little odd going on the ramps though.

As a sort of personal suggestion (just preference, really), I think it might be a good idea to post your tilesets on this thread, because frankly, Pomfy and I might not be the best judges for this kind of thing when you have the rest of the forums for advice.

This statement is quite accurate. The depth or lack thereof is quite confuzzling and alludes to the idea that you are trying to pull our minds into a sort of melt, such as the cheddar on a piece of perfectly buttered bread on the frying pan of our soul. The delicious cheese sandwich entices further discussion, but none may come because of our predicament which you have planned all along. Why would do this to us? Why cheddar? Why couldn't you have made us a mozzarella sandwich? How can we ever trust you three again?

You just choose whether or not you will. No one's forcing you or anything.
Also, the identity of Hydorah...well, he's just a friend of mine. That's all.
