Ballos' return V4.75: Going through your past.

I was saying that this part contains spoilers for the game. I wasn't trying to make it a spoiler button.

 

*Spoilers though but anyways*
Its supposed to be a hellish-nightmare cause Ballos put Quote, himself, Curly, and Misery inside the mind of Quote. But with Ballos'es memories of torture and destruction making the place more hellish and making Quote go to different path's hes never seen before.

Well then the name "Hell's Nightmare" doesn't really make sense. It could be "Quote's Nightmare" (which sounds horribly generic and is probably already taken) or simply "Hellish Nightmare". Or just something that has nothing to do with hell, since it has new paths and all, so it's not really the same place.

 

It could be seen as exaggeration and something even more cruel than Hell, I think the name is fine in that case

 

And finally another update has come. And yes Coffee it is an exaggeration of it being more cruel then hell.

Okay, just something about that new name doesn't sound right to me. For one, it's not grammatically correct. In both English and Japanese. I'm aware the English title's been "Hell's Nightmare" for some time now, but that subtitle doesn't make sense because for one it's implying Hell is having a nightmare, in both languages, and Hell, being a location, can't have nightmares.
And please, please
Don't ride the "Japanese-title-because-Japanese-is-cool" concept, it's been done to death already and everyone's exhausted of it by now.

I feel as if you've slowly inched your way into also jumping into another bandwagon that many other modders jump onto, the "Cave Story 2" naming trope. I intentionally dropped the "Cave Story 2" from my mod's title because it's really overused, generic, and at times a really lazy way to try to get attention just because "sequel-oh-my-god-therefore-I-must-hype".

It would do your mod an exponential amount of good to change that title. Please.

Don't make it *insert word here* Story. Because quite literally about 10 other mods with the same name as that exist already.

 

I'll try and make something original, just don't expect it to happen quick (I'm just not good at making original material).
