• Most people probably don't realise this, but this forum has had two editors for a number of years. One is the xenForo default editor, and the other is a custom editor I made years back I called BBCEd.

The last post in this thread is over 60 days old. Posting in this thread will be considered a bump, so please make an attempt to be courteous if you go ahead with it.

If the last post is over 6 months old, it may instead be a better idea to start a new topic. If you aren't sure about what to do, feel free to ask a staff member for help, or try to locate a 'general questions'-type thread if it exists in this (sub-)forum.

I didn't think you'd handle that so well doors.

....

Please, please use BL or CE like everyone else says. That was so painful to read.

And you won't hate us if you do, I hated Paint.net the first week I tried to use it, but now I can do awesome things with it because I just stuck to it all learned how to use it.

@ a lot of extra buttons = has more features.

If you don't understand that metaphor: Go ahead and use SW, I just recommend you at least give the others more of a chance (so that you don't limit your creative expression… or quality).

Well at least DOWNLOAD the others and see what they're like
what is it with people using defunct tools out of preference when there are so many others to choose from

This should be said to you, actually. There was a tiny bit of simple-mindedness on your part.

I don't think you're at much liberty to pass that judgement with your history of understanding sarcasm

Trying new things is usually good for you, Callerloppy. If you just don't even want to try, there's really nothing any of us can say to convince you otherwise, but it wouldn't do you any harm to try Booster's Lab and Cave Editor out with a fresh copy of Cave Story, would it? If you sincerely dislike them because they're too fancy, maybe looking through their buttons and trying everything out might give some insight, and your modding experience will be all the better for it. :)

(At any rate, at least you're not using Miza. Because my god...)

Shhh well Miza isn't exactly accessible the way the other editors are. The only reason ColdCallerloppy branded Sue's as the favourite was because it was already included with a copy of Cave Story Deluxe.

Just as I expected...
Nice to see how much of myself I've revealed so far.

A question for you, ColdCallerLoppy: Exactly how many areas will there be in this mod? Just curious.

I know, but those were included with a later version. I have the older Cave Story Deluxe on the family dinosaur computer and used Sue's Workshop at the time because I didn't know there were newer editors yet.

2.I downloaded SW the old fashion way on the site.

3.There a total of 6 or 7 depending on boss stats.

4.I tried to other editors and BL noticed that I used SW and said it could destroy the file sorry SW only (keep in mind this my first mod, I'll probably make my next mod with BL and CE YW.
