I've noticed recently that my 100x100 avatar get's squished/compressed slightly when it's seen above posts I make, but when I view my profile page it looks non-compressed/squished. Is there any way to fix this?

Also I tested this on 3 different browsers (IE, firefox, and chrome) so it doesn't appear to be a browser specific issue.

yeah I've actually noticed that too. Seems like changing the size of display pictures in threads would fix it.

I found some auto-resizing options but they're only for attachments. Couldn't see anything for avatars, sorry :(

Sorry about the random Japanese stuff. I accidentally set my iPad to Japanese and my friend (not derp) was messing with it and he posted that.

Going back on topic my avatar looks squished when people visit my profile. Can anyone help me fix that?

Blame the people behind the Webkit engine (Mobile Safari is a Webkit-based browser btw) for not implementing the css image-rendering property correctly even once over these past 3 years despite virtually every other browser supporting it in some fashion. They half implemented it so that it would only work on Chrome for mac to my knowledge and then dropped it completely.

Turns out that I was wrong about the image-rendering property, it works, but only for inline images.
So I've uploaded the fix, let me know how it shows up on your iPad.
