As some of you may know, I've been working on a mod called AQUA BARRIER for the past 11 months now.
I decided today I would make a small challenge mod, focused on speedrunning fast as usual, but more like a "Mario Galaxy Purple Coins" approach.
I give you, AQUAS SOUL HOUR!

Note: The difficulty of this mod can be listed as "Hard", you have 1hp and a Booster 2.0.
As all ways, good luck!

Good lord, at least tell me checkpoints are generous.
Not really, as it's one small room and my own record (not speedrunning too fast at all) is 2'29'1. Note that the mod is not True Hell difficulty, just fairly hard. You just have to be careful all the time.

I played for 10 minutes and got a time of 2'31'1

Here's that 10 minutes of gameplay, in YouTube video format!

also ChampionDude took over and got his time of 2'29'7 in my video so I guess this includes video proof of his run existing :p

Ok, so I've got some things to say:
1.Very refreshing MOD and pretty fun. It reminds me of Skulldash...does anybody here know what Skulldash is?
2.However, I've had a couple of problems with it: first of all you never know what's below you and you have to die a few times to know the map so you know when there are spikes under your feet. A solution for this would be to make stages more horizontal but I wouldn't want to influence your level design this much.
3.The art is simplistic and nice. I especially like the background and the new main character even though she's kind of similar to Curly.
Overall I like this concept and I had a good time with your project so I wish you good luck!
