Appeal: use of pornagraphic material

As I'm sure most of you are aware, there has been a pretty minor discrepancy in handling pornographic material in the Cave Story Fanart thread.
Now, I can't speak for the entire community, but to be quite frank, several, if not nearly everyone here (myself included) are extremely perverted... some perhaps more than others.

Now, to settle this argument, we'd have to decide what use of pornographic images would be acceptable in these forums:
- Placing them in "spoiler" tags, with an accompanying warning
- Linking them, again with an warning
or
- Banning linking or posting them outright

Of course, andwhyisit holds the final word on this, but I was hoping to get a public consensus or something, and move the argument away from the fanart thread.

I think they should be linked with a warning, so that the image doesn't load unless it's clicked on (images in spoilers still load.)

 

As long as it is properly announced, and behind a spoiler, I don't mind it

But yeah, I agree, just put it in a spoiler tag or link labeled NSFW, I really don't see why that would be a problem. Totally banning it would be dumb.

Knew this would happen sooner or later :/ The thing is I don't believe that it's wrong so much as that it's dumb, and that its mere presence is enough to make people act dumb. Having it around - on any site - seems to just throw the concept of self-restraint out the window and bring all sorts of nasty types in. Even last time here it couldn't go on for a week without Boots making a thread about how he wants to fuck puppies or whatever. Welse's reasoning might have been... eh... old-fashioned, but I was glad he stepped in and cleaned everything up when he did because the site was about a stone's throw away from turning into a GameFAQs thread about Tifa's boobs.

However, I am marginally open to the idea of

as long as that shit doesn't get actively posted anywhere on the site. I still think it would just result in spammed links though. I don't have any time to go into specifics at the moment, but for now, if a concession is made at some point, I'd ask that people try to be thankful for what they get and show some common sense regarding its posting. Otherwise it ain't gonna last long.

As much as I am being the most perverse person in my town, and how I just feed on pornographic material like there's no tomorrow, (just like the oldschool Jacob Xanth) would you probably think that I'm going to say that putting porn on here is a good thing? ...Not exactly.

I do actually consider pornographic drawings art, just like everything else, it's just "explicit". I know it sucks not having people who draw well such as Onlineworms to not post any of his porn on these forums, but at the same time it makes sense that he isn't. As he mentioned, he could just upload his artwork to some other place like Hentai Foundry or some shit. I'm sure people would get the idea that he would post something saying that he uploaded something to there and people can check it out, or whatever.

..I don't know. I'm just saying what I think, but I can't give any of you a direct answer. While I do admit I enjoy the pr0nz very much, that doesn't mean I say "yes".

This was already discussed. Pornographics fan art IS, allowed but you need to put a NSFW warning to the link.
