I'm not sure they do. I was going to check next time I played the game. Suppose that does change the weight of it...

You has a point. Still, I think it's a little weird how no Mimiga mentions the war but Zett. It should have come up when Sue was like "The Doctor's gonna pwn us with his red flowers."

Hmmm...
Well, maybe everyone thinks Zett is senile because he's old?
I dunno.
I mean, if I was the Doc, and I was gonna use rabit-folk-slaves to grow their own demise, I'd be pretty inclined to do a MIB-style mindwipe on all of them, with the exception of the very, very young and the very, very old; as anything the young ones remember would be too vague and anything the old ones remember would be disregarded as senile ramblings.

So the Doctor mind-wiped every Mimiga on the island? Huh.
Also, if EVERY OLD GUY started rambling about red flower wars and stuff, it would be a PRETTY BIG COINCIDENCE, huh? Personally I think it would fit he Doctor's plans better to just kill all the old people but he kept Zett around for some reason.

Why do I feel this is leading to some off-topic discussion about the Doctor raping Zett? =/

DAMN I KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO SAY THAT. Let's just say that he missed brainwashing/killing Zett somehow.

Because they were children back then.

Interesting... the robots didn't kill the children, only those who were able to fight them.
BUT THAT IS FOR ANOTHER THREAD. For now I will agree with andwhyisit and say that Mimigas age faster than humans, reaching their peak around 10 or 11 (ours is 18). Average lifespan should be around 40 then, I think, since I don't see any reason for them to live any longer than that.
GOOD NEWS JACOB: Chaco is at least 11.

Uh-huh, mhm.
But I have to raise this point: What exactly is a YEAR?
I mean, it was never settled if the game was based on Earth, so a "year" could be 2 Earth years or 3 months. =/

This is not relevant and has absolutely no evidence to create a theory out of. We will measure time in normal years, months, weeks and days.

True, the planet that Cave Story is on could revolve faster or rotate slower and time would be measured differently, but there's not point in making up "Cave Story years" because they would be arbitrary and confusing.
Speaking of arbitrary and confusing, what do you think the average Cthulhu lifespan is? I say 289 years.

I'd say anywhere between 70 and Infinite.

Alright, now this thread is getting silly. Time for all the characters again:
Quote: 11 (looks like 14)
Curly: 11 (looks like 14)
Sue: 12
King: 20
Toroko: 6
Korons: 4
Chie: 5
Kazuma: 19
Moromin: 40 (the woman got knocked up right out of high school)
Booster: 58
Fuyuhiko Date: 41
Chaco: 13
Santa: 23
Zett: 46

As to everyone else, your guess is as good as mine.
