I just recently heard of this project but it's probably old news to most people, and I seem to recall seeing a thread called "Action 52" on here awhile back, but I can't find it so, bleh. It started in 2010 I think but some games are still being remade.

There is a project going on to remake the piss-poor games of Action 52 and making them actually good. Some people, such as the creator of Jables' Adventure and the creator of Momodora are also on-board with this project.

A list of the games and their progression can be found here: http://www.superfundungeonrun.com/action52/index.php

Take a little gander at some of the videos too

This seems like a really cool project, Action 52 was ridiculously bad, but this looks... fun.

Haha, this looks interesting. The only time I've seen Action 52 was in an episode of AVGN, so aside from hypercritical nerd-banter I haven't heard much about it. That being said, it still looked like the game sucks. Horribly. I think it'll be cool to have the games remade and, and have them actually playable.

Edit: Thanks for the link Omega. I'll probably play them if I get a chance.

I think Time Warp Tickers has redefined humanity.
And the new version is cool too.
