SP's Character was ripped from Pixel's unused Mimiga Soldier sprite.

And I would say that marcoaslak did alot more to Pixel's sprite than just adding some extra frames like SP did. Note the cap rounded into a bandanna as well as the difference to the ears, shading, lower body, facial features, etc. In fact the only similarity is the colour and pattern on the hat.

Doesn't matter since the only thing similar between the sprites are the colour and pattern on the hat (I've done a full comparison btw).

Pfft. What SP means by copyright isn't exactly going to the office to apply for one... It just means that it's an original piece of work done by him, registered or not.
