This bug has been around for a long time... Chances are, it'll never get patched as Nicalis was/is/are working on newer projects. Funny thing is, if you finish Nemesis Challenge, the end screen there is bugged. The small island is gone, and you kinda just fall. (The game closes out afterwards)

God, I can't remember my first play through, but I remember totally ignoring the fact that King, Toroko and Booster died. I think one other stupid thing I did, was try to get to the room where the Littles live, but messed up and fell off the outer wall.

If you save Curly, and have the booster v2.0, I think you get the hidden version regardless of if you have the iron bond or not. (I found this out the hard way when I forgot to talk to Curly to get the Iron Bond)
