I hope so too. By the meanwhile, I'll just make a 3rd run through the mod, and play the older version of Heaven's Tower to ease my mind. Balanced challenges like this mod is rather nostalgic.

I like the Life Fragment idea.. but then agian, I prefer Chaos Mode.

Is it possible to get the secret weapon on Chaos? It seems there are spikes that make it impossible for Zaro alone to pass. Not to mention the death spikes that are placed directly under top exit to the tower. I had to cheat to get away from it. Anyways, nice twist to the volcano on Chaos.

I'm missing Ikachan. I'm guessing it's the same way you get it in Cave Story....

I kinda experimented with the volcano and it seems it's backtrackable. I'm guessing this is the extended tour for the Flame Medal that was teased about.... I'm missing one medal though....
