    Spent a bit on this - pictured: xfce conky for the desktop information (I yoinked two themes and combined them. it's foss so who cares) tint2 for the sidebar which I also yoinked but adapted heavily my friend posting 'gang violence' on discord for no reason turned into a wallpaper...

    trouble with Gum cutscene

    Judging from the amount of odd characters in there, the file's probably corrupted. Have you tried taking all of your new stuff over to a new installation of Cave Story (like, copy all modified .bpm files over to the new copy of Cave Story)
