okay so fortunately this turned out a lot better than the ale 8 cookies, mostly because the ale 8 did nothing to the cookie batter other than make the texture way more flimsy
i don't recall having apple dumplings before, but hey these are pretty alright. to be fair though, the ale 8 still probably didn't improve the recipe lol??? it's literally just soda. i mean, i can maybe kind of taste a hint of the sugary carbonation but it's masked out by the butter-sugar-cinnamon glaze. but hey, regardless, let's consider this one a success ;)
