Yeah, if you kill some enemies and things, like Froggits, or Toriel, you'll feel horrible. Most characters you encounter in Undertale are nice and kind, even when they seem threatening.
Everyone hates you if you kill things. Also, there are some plot twists that will make you wanna cry.
