Comparing an editor to games aside: you must still be young, because I used to have this logic too. "People criticise my opinion so therefore they must think I'm outright stupid." I didn't take opposition to my opinions/showing my work off as well, but at least when posting on the internet, I had time to look away and calm down.
There's nothing wrong with having a different perspective. If you can make Sue's Workshop work for you, then I applaud you. After all, it was deprecated for a reason. You may want to give the other editors a chance in the future though because from my understanding, you haven't even tried to use BL or CE before coming to this conclusion.
