Candace was schizophrenic, and she would imagine her brothers, phineas, who suffered from hyperactivity, and ferb, who was mentally retarded and because of that, he couldn't speak, did all those amazing things.(it also explains the talking zebra.) And every time she would tell her mom, nothing would be there. She then started writing everything she saw her brothers do. They then took her to a doctor named Heinz Doofinshmirtz. He gave her medicine which only made it worse.(this is why he is the villain.) She then intentionally overdosed and killed herself. She was found later dead on her bed, with her diary in hands, and a suicide note on the last page. Linda then sold her diary to Disney in 2007. However Perry the platapus was just in the cartoon.
