• Most people probably don't realise this, but this forum has had two editors for a number of years. One is the xenForo default editor, and the other is a custom editor I made years back I called BBCEd.

All the settings for which editor you use was lost during the upgrade. You can find the setting under Account Settings > Preferences > Editor.

    OrgReader (and PiPo, and Poctp)

Got a live one for ya.... Here's a sister program that turns Ptcops into text. All it does right now, though. Keys and key corrects are still arcane to me.... Btw, the other two have received big recent updates.

    Show off your org music...

Indeed! Some of my Orgs took me maybe two years to finish. (...I wasn't working on them all the time, it was more a cycle of getting frustrated, stopping, then coming back after a cool-off period.) As price for this encouragement, I provide you with two more Orgs, from Terranigma and World of...

    Show off your org music...

No proper intro? I guess not. The finished ones (Biosed and Tin Plate King are unfinished) are highly unlikely to change, so instead of dithering on whether I should just link to my Org page for the fifth time, I'll just attach them. Steamboat Wharfy is finished from a three-year ago...

    OrgReader (and PiPo, and Poctp)

Having done this, I compared the various beta Orgs discovered in those old OrgViewers.

    OrgReader (and PiPo, and Poctp)

How do I manage to lose my intro.... oh well. OrgReader is a Python program designed to suck in Orgs and spit out text files, and vice-versa. The utility is endless. You can combine two Orgs (of small tracks) easily, even out volume and panning, and other great stuff I mention in the readme...

Oh, no prob! I'm just glad to see you're still kicking! Doesn't matter how much time you take, I'd be a hypocrite to hold somebody to a strict timetable.

I seem to be having a problem with outgoing PMs on this new forum software, sooooo... I wanted to be sure if it didn't get through that you didn't think I was ignoring you. Sorry, it just occurred to me and I'm not sure if it happens with replies.

    Christmas ORG Contest

Okay, a few people have been having trouble downloading my ORGs lately, and it just occurred to me, durr, why not try putting them in a zip file? So here's my entry with that done... I hope it works.

http://thornbush.monarch-pass.net/maoztsur.org I tried reuploading it under a different name. Not sure why the ORGs are only working for certain people... Random-storykeeper, if it still doesn't work for him, go ahead and reupload, if you don't mind.

I saw your message in the Xmas ORG contest thread. Is the problem with the server, or the ORG, or something else? (They seem not to be cooperating with me lately...)

I just heard your entry. Whoa! I never would have thought to combine those songs. It makes a great action ORG, and there's not anything I can nitpick. Excellent work.

All righty, thanks for your input. If Deck the Halls was *much* better, I would swap, but the reason you mentioned and the original rhythm in Rock of Ages were why I chose it in the first place. Been dying for a second opinion. Hee, I've been trying to break away from the sine wave comfort zone...

Hmm, thanks. I was sorta going for a peppy elevator music dealy-o, and I prefer to put a unique spin on preexisting pieces if I can. Not sure if I meant for that specific effect, though (music novice). If I may, do you think I should stick with Rock of Ages as my submission, or swap it out?
