I beat monster X and exited the building, now I'm stuck at the long jump with only the Booster 0.8. Does that mean I missed the 2.0 somewhere?

Fun mod. I have the Spur, and the life capsules from Texas and from behind the fireplace near Chaba. Now I keep going in circles, where can I go?
