I forgot to ask it during the beta test but, is there a way to deactivate Quote's blonde sprite from Hard Mode? To me the original Quote is way prettier than him.

Woah, the Cave+ copy is already a great gift considering the testing period was fun. You will get us spoiled giving so much. :p

And I still can't play it since the last patch... Now it asks me to install the game and nothing happens, then it asks again, and again...and goes like that forever. :)

It's happening to me too, but it was kinda different. Yesterday the game started updating so I waited it to finish so I could check the new build, but at 95% it stopped and now I can't play it, I always get this message and the game never finishes updating.

You have an avatar with Quote's face on it, probably played Cave Story and didn't notice the only one on the pic with his hat/clothes? :droll:

Sacred Grounds entrance was probably a straight way when she fell but the tremors changed it's layout when Quote goes there (only explanation I can think of :p), so she fell all the way to the bottom and was knocked unconscious, Quote finds her and you guys know the rest.

Maybe for Mac compatibility with steam (since steam works on mac/linux/pc).

Actually, nevermind... Just got a PM saying the Dark Quote appeared because we are near halloween, but the other ones only appeared because of the difficulty. It's because the sudden Dark Quote as soon as I fix a save file scared the hell outta me so I just thought it was related to the...

I don't know if I should post it on the google docs since it happened after I use the save fix but... All Quote skins changed.:D One time to a blonde guy, then Quote with yellow costumes and now Dark Quote. Any idea if the save fix may have something to do with this?

It keeps the old save file when you fix it, if you want to you can just use the old one again when the next build comes. It's better than doing nothing. :p

Thanks Carrotlord. :momo: Got the corrupted save while on Egg Corridor so it's probably going to work, but I'll edit it later to confirm if it did work.

Even with constant errors I'm having fun testing it, so I don't really consider the free copy as payment but that's just me. :p
