I thought existence was finished
I thought my mission was done
All I remember was liquid
Filling my synthetic lungs

I can't recall what happened
Or why I'm feeling better
Seen Curly laying lifeless
Now it's all coming together

She saw me drowning and
Hooked me up to her air tanker
She gave her life to save me
And I'll never get to thank her

I'm overwhelmed and underwater
I'm all alone
The core is gone and Curly's flooded
Guess I'm on my own

I can't just leave her here
I'll use my tow rope to carry her
And take her back to Sand Zone
So I can bury her

Right outside the house where we met
I swear I'll never forget
I'll make em pay for this and
Justify revenge with your death

I navigate the waterways
Until I found a shed
Unhooked the tow rope
And gently laid her down on the bed

I found a book about proper
Robotic drainage procedure
I drained her out, the bed was soaking
So I couldn't leave her

Outside the shed, I'm amazed
At how fast the water's flowing
Dodging jellyfish and spikes with
No control of where I'm going

Iron Head chasing me
Giant fish, big and scary
I guess I have to battle
This aquatic adversary

Swimming in a frenzy and
Shooting circular laser beams
With little pokey puffer fish
Swarming around him crazily

I took him down, he was nothing
More than a minor deterrent
Got separated from Curly
And swept away in the current

Woke up in the reservoir
I took a look around
Back in Mimiga village
But it's a ghost town

I checked the flower farm
I checked the Town Assembly
The only people I found
Were in the cemetery

A tiny man in the grass
So small I almost missed him
And a snippy mushroom insisting
I got no business with him

Went back to Arthur's house
And checked the monitors
The text displayed a message
It was from Kazuma

Professor Booster appears
And tells me Sue's in trouble
I gotta find her and escape the
Island on the double

I said I'm not going anywhere
Til I find the Doctor
He's hurt so many already
And someone's gotta stop him

I couldn't save the Mimigas
And I regret that
And Curly's probably gone forever
Can't forget that

He said I see you're determined
And I respect that
So here's a jet pack
No go and kick ass

I'm gonna teleport

Back to Egg Corridor

I'm gonna save the surface

I'm gonna stop the war

I'm gonna rescue Sue

Avenge my fallen friends

Destroy the Demon Crown

So this'll never happen again
