What did you dream about last night?

That dream log is interesting. I always dream in color.

I now resolve to keep a dream log.
Also, no dream last night. Nothing to contribute.

 

Something to do with... there was this show or something, and someone published authorized fanfiction, and I was offended because they were randomly pairing the main guy and girl, and also... two other characters. Also, something to do with a marching band.

Has anyone else noticed that if you're half awake and half asleep then you can remember your dreams better, or not at all?

 

I don't think I know how to be half-awake/half-asleep.

 

It's one of two of my default ways of sleeping. The other is sleeping heavily and forgetting dreams.

 

You mean the R.E.M. stage of sleep? Yeah, that research's kinda been done before.

 

I had a long dream last night. It had a plot that actually made sense, and it probably would have made a decent movie. Too bad I can't remember it. I just remember thinking "That plot made sense" as soon as I woke up. Oh well.
The dream I had after that one was about Invader Zim, but there were undertones of District 9 in it. And I had it from two perspectives. The first time I had the dream from Zim's perspective, the second time it was from another character's. I dreamed the story twice.
This character was letting Zim live in his house for some reason, but Zim ultimately stabbed him in the back. Details are not forthcoming, except this other alien that looked like a cool giant centipede. He was hypnotized by Zim.
The Invader Zim dream wasn't funny, unfortunately.

 

A few days ago I dreamed that I was trying to swim to an island with a hut on it surrounded by torches. I remember going out from it for some reason, but I don't remember why. I was splashing and gasping for air, and I woke up trying to breathe through congested nasal passages.

It's funny how real life occurences can translate to dream elements in real time.

 

It's also cool when dreams are formed around the experiences of the day.

 

That would not be cool, especially if you had a bad day.

I was in a Walmart, shopping alone.
I found a giant box of Cheerios.
It said it had 8 different kinds of honey.
They were shaped like Honeycomb.
I turned the box over.
It said it was "Super Fun-size Format".
It contained 7-2 kg bags of cereal.
It had no nutrition information.
Instead I found a partial diagram of how to put together an Ikea stereo stand door.
There was a sticky note saying it'd been returned because it was missing the corner braces.
Then Batman asked if he could help me.
He was wearing a blue vest.

Hard to say, I fell asleep with the TV on [to avoid nightmares... screw you Junji Ito], though I turned it off halfway through the night, so it had that fade-y element, but I don't remember much more precisely than usual...

Anyway, I was apparently working at a museum now, and I was going through a hallway [likely a spiral! AAAAAAH!] learning to unlock safes. Then also there was a library where the books came to life, or maybe they were just showing related TV specials. Those were each in different, uniquely-designed rooms lining a [spiral! Arrrrgh!] staircase going down. I also think that came before the museum. I don't seem to remember anything else.

 

Well...

Last night I had a dream of being molested by a mimiga, then I woke up into another dream where king was chasing me with a blade in Gmod.

Then I woke up for real...

 

I had a dream where Lace said either his age (as displayed on his info bar) or his postcount (I can't remember which) was going to change to something really small like 9. I didn't believe him at first, but then it did. I don't remember much else...

 

I had a dream where I had sex with all of your mothers.
Oh, wait, that wasn't a dream, I was just high while I did it. Nevermind.

I had a dream where the whoe world decided to listen to music at the loudest possible volume, and the world broke apart.
