I think that everyone should put one money unit in their stage and it could be used to unlock the next one.
Also, I think that we should put the timer at the beggining of the mod for people who want to do speedruns.

Did Bowser force you to get all 120 stars in order to challenge him? No. I think that the requirement should be lower in order to reach the final boss (when the money system is implemented). If the player does win the mod 100%, then they should get a little something extra as a reward.

A lower requirement? How about 50%? I'd be okay with that.

I feel like an idiot now. I forgot that you said "if you get enough" part. Sorry about that Dunc.

But, I still think that the player should be rewarded for getting everything in the game.

This would be a good way for everything to be connected.

What about:
A dark magician is jealous of [MAIN CHARACTER]'s power and sends him into a mysterious realm (my maps would be perfect for this, actually), to siphon [MAIN]'s power (explains [MAIN]'s constant ability loss) and ultimately destroy [MAIN]. [MAIN] escapes realm and chases after the magician. Final boss equals powerful dark magician.

EDIT: Wait, we can't change sprites or anything like that. Evil Magician=Omega. There. That fixes it.
