Wow, Phil, that was a heck of a lot of ass-pulling.
Also, did you not read our discussion of the lifespan of a Mimiga?

I don't understand why is Quote and Curly's mental or apparent physical age relevant at all. They're robot soldiers, and even though they do have some sort of personality, it is most likely not comparable to that of a human at certain age. We don't determine what would be the Mimigas' ages if they were humans, why should we do that with the robots? All that is important is the fact that they were most likely built specifically for the mission, thus ages 10-11.

I think that mental ages matter to cap because he finds the idea of ten year old quote saying hi to chaco horrific.

It matters to me because having a human personality with human emotions but not age to associate them with is weird. But this thread is not for discussing their mental age. As long as we know they're 11 and they were built to look 14ish.

No, they're supposed to look young. They don't act like any age. Why? How old do you think they're supposed to look?

Also, by building them the way they are, they can fit into tighter spaces than the other would have most likely been able to fit through. The others were sent to find and secure the crown, and were probably larger, to be able to take some sort of damage.

Quote and Curly were more like espionage units, sent together with a more precise task, and they thought that if they were smaller, they could fit into smaller spaces, not only to travel, but to hide in case of danger.

Lol midget robot soldiers.
They were probably just made in Japan, where they make everything smaller.

Anyways, I found it funny with Kazuma thinking Quote was human, and Booster easily figured out otherwise. Ha ha Kazuma.

How could you mistake Quote for human? He has antennae. He has lines on his face, or at least he does in some of Pixel's art.
Also, why isn't the spellchecker working?

I don't have any idea how Kazuma failed to notice that, but oh well, he did, and he fails for it. I think it's easy to tell what human and what's not, but from my experiences in CS, Logic =/= Cave Story. Some things just don't make sense, but it's ok, lol...

Things make video game sense! Like scientists building robots that look like children to go fight in wars, or Moromin looking 20...

Toroko is most likely over ten years old.
