its quite good, its like cave story but from the viewpoint of if you were playing as sue (Except for the fact that it doesn't fight the core, oh well) it's pretty neat to thnk of quote as evil. I had a quick chuckle at the end when:

That was pure genius, coupled with depressing melancholy and hope for a happy ending. It felt like a cascade of sweetness with a bitter aftertaste.

Okay, I'm done waxing poetic, but it's definitely worth a read if you don't mind semi-sad endings. What happened to Quote and Curly in the end is in my opinion gloomier than Juliet's self-impalation after seeing her dead boyfriend. But the flashback was a nice addition there, and the last bit left a somewhat hopeful feeling.

 

lol i finnaly got around to reading it ( i read it in one sitting. it was long)

but i reckon it was a great long story from the different view points of people on the island with great detail on everthing around.. and very dark as he says it is at the start

Adding in the Ballos subplot could give it a happy ending... after all, in the game when you kill doubly transformed Sue she reverts to a completely healthy transformed Sue.

She don't get killed, the core is just dead so the red flower/crystal power is gone.

I just remembered having read this story.
The writing is good for a fanfic, but the general tone and style fits poorly with that of the game itself.
Also, I personally don't like all the pointless gore and the occasionally harsh language. It contributes nothing.
