I want to be Quote for Halloween!

Haha, yes. This may be my last time going out for candy during Halloween and I want to make it a memorable one. I want to be my favorite protagonist, Quote, for this special occasion. There will also be a costume contest (hopefully) and I want to look just like him. Too bad nobody knows who he is D:

Now, here is what I have to get:
-Quote's hat (It is actually Ash's hat from Pokemon, but I can change it!)
-Red Jeans (Which I THINK will work)
-Black shoes
-Pale Skin (Close as I can get to white/light blue)
-Black Tank-top
I will need to:
Dye my hair black (I am blonde!)
Get a green scarf and antennas... somehow.
Maybe a gun?

Now I need recommendations from you, the forums, to make my costume look accurate. Thanks in advance.

Yess, I was planning on doing this. I am going to look so epic but how the fuck do I get antennas???

 

For the Antennas....I dunno, paper miche? Get giant headphones and modify them?

 

Headphones + green spray-paint. Antennas that extrude from the top of the ear-cups would be a nice detail, but not a game-changer. If you're going to cry because they're non-existant, use two green glowsticks.

Quote wears a tank top, not a t-shirt. Or maybe you call them both t-shirts? Also you can just wear a wig instead of dying your hair, that's what I did.

 

I cosplayed as Quote a few years back, maybe I'll consider giving pics.
At the very least I'll show y'all what I used for the gun, assuming I can still find it.

I kind of based my outfit off of the original looking Quote, but I guess I should wear a tank-top now. Never really liked those, though.

I would wear a wig, but my hair is really long right now (I don't want to cut it) meaning that it probably would not look very, err... 'authentic'.

 

Personally, I would prefer a water gun over a nerf gun. You don't have to recollect the ammo and you can have fun drenching people.
As for the pale skin, just use some monster makeup. Just don't wear fangs or add glitter.

Edit: What are you planning to put on your hat? Would you put curly brace on it or something else?
Also, are you planning to wear the full costume to school? If so, you might not be allowed to bring the gun in, even though it's a piece of plastic.

I didn't have to collect ammo, because I gutted the insides out
it was just a visual prop.
