Wikipedia's Zombie Contingency Plan

Not necessarily zombies, but Wikipedia's Terminal Event Management Protocol tells editors what to do if global catastrophe is imminent. Yes, if the nukes hit in two hours, your ass should be on the computer, archiving Wikipedia articles.

It's good to know that if the apocalypse comes around and humanity is doomed, Wikipedia will be broadcasted into space, so that hundreds of years from now, aliens will know how the Simpsons influenced world culture.

I think this is hilarious.

 

Heh. Wikipedia is archieved by some places frequently. Why don`t we launch every major version out already, just to be sure lol.

What sort of person would think about wikipedia when the world has 19 seconds left to exist?
