This is a weird little game where you use rockets to blow people up, but that's not the point here:

diph.php

Have you seen this before? And do you think he got Pixel's permission to use these tiles?

Game itself: Link

Well he didn't credit Pixel. That's frowned upon.

At the bottom of the main menu, it says (c) spil games

http://www.spilgames.com/

who wants to inform pixel first?

Or who wants to inform spil games first, so they can fire the mofo who did this.

EDIT: after further search, i also found the exact same game on Armor Games, without any link or copyright information pointing to spil games, and just a little picture in the corner saying "Armor Games".

Strange that his game has copyrights only half the time >.>

Flash games steal sprites/music from other games literally all the time. Heck there are plenty of flash series based purely around in-game sprites. I seriously doubt it's anything personal.

Guys, unknot your panties. There's no possible way this can hurt Pixel. In fact, if Spil Games had used more sprites from Cave Story, it would just be publicity for Pixel.
Besides, it's a dumb game.

I don't think that's really the point; people get really mad if you steal their stuff, even if it's excellent publicity.

But really, as DoubleThink said, you'll be hard pressed to find a flash game that doesn't use SOMETHING from another existing property, very few flash game-making youngsters have the patience or skill to make absolutely every detail of their flash game from scratch, and when they do you get hilariously bad stuff like Arrival in Hell most of the time. And as far as I know, no big company or anything has ever messed with a flash game maker over stuff like that. I guess because it's free, and they're not trying to make money off it, that makes it somehow alright, or at least okay enough to go under the big guys' radar.

Anyway, take a look at "Super Mario Crossover"; that's a very popular game that relies entirely on mixing and mashing the NES era of gaming into a fan-made Flash, and no one's complained.
