Does everybody (ingame) hate Kanpachi?

I mean, think about it. No one cared enough to go after him when he skipped out to fish, and after the doctor took away the mimigas while you rest, he's still there! WTF?

 

Really? He's still fishing? I never went to check. I'll take your word for it. Maybe it's because no one bothered to go down there. I mean, if Cthulhu and Curly can hide out on the lower level, it can't be a very popular place. Or perhaps he is very stealthy.
I know lots of people exo-Cave Story like Kanpachi.

 

Well, he skipped work to go fishing, and nobody except Quote probably knew he was down there, so... yeah.

 

Yeah, I do. I don't THINK I messed up the script enough to keep him there, I only (temporarily) made it so trying to get the sprinkler will cause the game to freeze .

 

Well, now I will have to go play Cave Story and see if you're right.
EDIT: Gee whillickers, looks like they left Kanpachi behind. Makes me feel happy for the little guy. He's just chillin' out by the pool, all like "Man, I'm not catching ANYTHING." KANPACHI JUST GOT AWESOME, YOU GUYS.

I got caught by the doctor and what'd he say?
"You're moving to the plantation, and no, I'm not gay."
He whistled for a witch and it made me laugh.

I showed up in a bubble 'bout seven or eight.

Kanpachi doesn't seem very perturbed at the fact that he was stolen from his village by an evil doctor, he's just tired of farming is all. Actually, why isn't anyone upset at being kidnapped? Only the jailmates are angry. Everyone else is like "Meh, whatcha gonna do."
