What with all the empty spaces in the rock in the first screenshot, it looks rather glitchy, you may want to fill it out smoothly. The smooth bricks seem out of place among the rough rock tiles for some reason. The cave floor also looks sort of flat, in a way.
But it looks like you're working hard for this, I hope it goes well. Good luck!

I'm over there right now. There are blocks that you can go behind. That black thing you circled is background tiles.

 

You should delete the Manuel and profile dat in future releases.

The texturing to the right is kinda wonky, and the scene slows down, the scene is actually pretty well built.
Also really like the title screen theme. You should really delete the profile, just loaded up a saved by accident.

Oh GOD the game is really slow for me for some reason....
Whelp, after I got killed in the tunnel twice gave up, is it running slow for anyone else?

 

This whole mod is kind of unintentionally hilarious, what with the broken English, jarring tiling, and... HOPPING MAHIN ENEMIES??? Unfortunately, as a serious mod, this uhh definitely doesn't work. It's just the normal Cave Story maps with poor edits. The dialogue between Balrog and Misery makes no sense (but it's still really funny, probably the best part of the mod). Also the Labyrinth sucks there's just a bunch of spikes everywhere??
