Sonic.exe wasn't scary from the start, how could you find a shitty implementation of it in CaveStory even remotely scary?

That's not to say the way you implemented it is shitty, Bombchu, just that CaveStory's engine isn't exactly meant for scary things. And with the limitation in audio and visual capabilities, among other engine limits, it's pretty hard to make something actually scary on it.

Also Sonic the Hedgehog is the last thing I'd expect to find in a list of things that actually non-ironically scared people.

I cant say I've played through the game, but i really like the idea of journaling your adventures in a notebook. this would work good with plot heavy cs mods not just horror mods too.

ending and holly crap this was a really scary mod which i really didn't expect to come out from Cave Story. I kinda like horror games but because of games/mods like this I HATE CREAPYPASTAS. Still its good scare by it's own but i could've handled the first 2

EDIT: I played this last night and I $#!+ed my pants.Thinking about it now it's a really good mod and maybe i'll play it again.

Wow, am I like, really that good at scaring people?

And nobody really even found the good endings, everything discovered by most quitters only took about 3-4 weeks to do.

You sir definitely can scare a lot. And that's a good thing. Especially when the gaming scene (Mainly the indie scene) nowadays concentrate on horror games and promoting them through overexcited YouTubers and earning money. And you sir nailed the horrific atmosphere, music, sound and visual effects. You sir are a one-of-many indie horror masters. And you should be proud. And yet again.

Well, It's near impossible to non-cheatedly reach it anyway, so...

Curly is only a minor custom-ASM boss to a much bigger, more epic custom-ASM deity.

if you beat Curly ones and then fight her again she is far harder.

Im afraid of every thing similiar to Sonic.exe, mainly when i play the game at about 22:00.

Managed to get about one... two... maybe three or four possible endings. Good mod! 9/10

So I made an edit of this mod (the final boss encounter, that is) way back in 2014, called
Fractured Hope
BLink had a private and personalized copy back then, and I started working on a public version but never finished and released it (with the exception of the April 2015 dump).

Instead of making its own thread for it, since it is basically an edit of this mod that lasts only 5 minutes, I'm appending it here with BLink's permission.
Spoilers for the true ending of DoR2, which most of you never even got close to finding since it was so incredibly hard to even know where it was in the first place.
