Searching For Spring

put the water in your pocket for later

 

Look around for any pinecones.

 

While looking for pinecones, check for anything that could be used for a bridge.

(And before all of these things, put Wriggle down gently, of course.)

 

You put Wriggle down, and attempt to put water in your pockets. the water seems and it chills your body.

There is a single pinecone, but you can't seem to find any more nearby...

You could cut a tree down, but that may take to much time.

 

Make stone mounds to use as stepping stones to cross the water.

You take brave leaps across the lake.

...You realize it's only ankle-deep.

You head towards the steps. You arrive, and see one last path towards the top, which is nearby. It doesn't look as remote as the wilderness.

 

Walk along the path.

 

You walk up the path. Wriggle follows. You see more of bullets fly off into the skyline, which disappear. The path merges into stairs, and the stairs seem to go a high way up, and you can see a Torii (Shrine Gate). You see bullets fly by more often as you get closer...

"This is looking bad... It only started when I came, but I think the goddess or goddesses are now becoming serious..." Says Wriggle.

You arrive at the top. A shrine is straight ahead, but a path is available from the side, seeming to be the way where the battle is taking place.

There is a fountain, shrine, a path, and shrubbery.

 

Walk forward and examine the shrine.

 

The shrine has the feeling of green, as in having green decorations. There is an entrance, however it seems to be dim inside. There is a single wind chime, but it isn't windy.

The wind chime looks like an ordinary wind chime.

...While making sure nobody sees you doing so.

 

You steal the Wind Chime.

Wriggle shakes her head at you disapprovingly.

 

Go inside the shrine while holding the wind chime in a defensive position.

You enter inside the shrine. It is dark, and no one seems to be around. There is a low table in the middle of one of the three rooms. The other room has a bed, and so does the other. Nothing else of interest is present.
You hear a loud popping noise outside, most likely from the battle.

 

Ring the chime, then put it back. Look from the safety of the shrine to check if there's any cover where we can see who's involved in the battle.
